He wakes up in a strange dark place and meets his first monsters who will teach him the rules of this place, or become his enemies.
As you understand, you play this guy, and your aim is to escape this place and return home. That’s why you need to explore this huge world searching for all clues and characters that can help you. Every room may contain something useful, so don’t skip them. There are many monsters on your way, but what if we tell you that you are able to become friends with them?
While you play, you discover interesting things. Not all monsters want to fight you. They speak to you, tell you their stories, and attack you, if you don’t pick the right words. When you meet a certain personage, you can talk to him, flirt with him or do other actions. If they want to battle with you, you will see the battlefield.
It is a small white square where all events will take place. You control the small heart, while your enemies are different dots and lines that are approaching you. To win, you need to avoid these dots and survive. You have limited health, and you are able to upgrade your heart to stand against strong enemies.
After you win, you have two options – to leave this creature, or finish him. And according to what options you were choosing all the time during your walkthrough, you receive one of all the endings developers made for Undertale. You can get a neutral ending, bad and good ones and many variants of these three finals.
